The Arts Quiz - Main Page

Welcome to the website for The Arts Quiz. This quiz is designed to be used as an entertaining, light-hearted way of pitting teams, of between 4 and 8 people, against each other and testing their collective knowledge. It is suitable for art societies, Friends of Museums and Art Galleries, luncheon clubs, fund-raising events or anyone who enjoys running quizzes. As no special equipment is necessary, it is a handy item to take on a trip to be used as an evening's entertainment.

The questions in this quiz are pertinent to the visual arts in all their manifestations. Anyone who has an interest in the arts should be able to answer some of the questions, which mainly cover the fine and decorative arts of the western world between the seventeenth and twentieth centuries.
